Agent-first marketing
Give your marketing a goal. Your agent gets to work.
Set a goal to fill quiet days, bring customers back or grow online sales. Your agent connects the data and prepares campaigns. Approve each action, then enable autopilot as you build trust.
What can I ask the agent to do?
Set a goal in plain English, such as "bring back customers who have not visited in a month" or "grow repeat online orders". The agent prepares the audience, content and campaign in Engage, where you can edit the work. It uses your permissions, with reversible actions you can undo.
- Requests in plain English
- Work built in the normal builders, and editable there
- Runs as the signed-in user, with no extra permissions
- Reversible actions can be undone
How do approvals and autopilot work?
Start with individual approvals. Your agent prepares the work and shows the audience and message before you approve it. As you build trust, enable autopilot for campaigns within the goals and limits you agree. You can pause it or return to approvals at any time.
- Choose individual approvals or autopilot within agreed limits
- A preview with the exact recipient count and a rendered sample
What does the agent watch for?
Nine detectors run on each venue's own baselines. They are deterministic rules, not guesses, and they look for lapsed regulars, guests never welcomed, a drop in return rate, campaign outliers, send-time mismatch, journey leaks, deliverability risk, segments that grew but were never mailed, and dates with no campaign planned.
- Lapsed regulars: 3 or more visits in 90 days, none in the last 30
- Welcome gap: WiFi sign-ups never welcomed
- A drop in return rate
- Campaign outliers
- Send-time mismatch
- Journey leaks
- Deliverability risk
- Quiet segments that grew but were never mailed
- Calendar dates with no campaign planned
How does the agent propose a campaign?
As ranked opportunity cards, each with its evidence and a campaign already staged. The AI can only state numbers that are in the evidence, and a daily digest brings you the top three. Every campaign the agent proposes is a controlled experiment: 5% of recipients are held back to measure the lift.

What writing help does Engage give?
A subject-line grader that is free and instant, on-brand subject suggestions, and refine with AI. Suggestions and refine with AI follow your brand voice and a never-say list of words you don't use. Guest personal data is masked before it goes to the model.

How much control can I hand over?
Ask for help on demand, let the agent watch for opportunities, or have campaigns prepared for review. When you are ready, turn on bounded autopilot playbooks. You set the goals and limits, follow the results and decide when to step in.
- Ask: give your agent a task or goal
- Watch: find opportunities in customer and campaign data
- Review: approve each prepared action and campaign
- Autopilot: run agreed playbooks within your limits
Questions
Which AI model does the agent use?
The agent is built on Anthropic's Claude.
Can the agent do more than I can?
No. It runs as the signed-in user, with no extra permissions, so it can only do what that person can do in Engage.
Can the agent make numbers up?
The AI can only state numbers that are in the evidence behind an opportunity card. The detectors that find the opportunities are deterministic rules on your own data.
Why hold back 5% of an agent-proposed send?
So the lift in visits and till revenue can be measured against guests who did not receive it. Every campaign the agent proposes is a controlled experiment.
Is there an autopilot?
Yes. Start with individual approvals while you build confidence, then enable bounded autopilot playbooks. Your agent works towards your goals within agreed limits, with results to review and the option to pause.
