MCP server
Use Purple Engage from Claude and other AI assistants
Read your Engage data and draft campaigns from Claude or another MCP-compatible assistant. You approve every send inside Engage.
What is the Purple Engage MCP server?
It connects an AI assistant to Purple Engage. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an assistant such as Claude Desktop or Cursor use another app's tools. The Engage server is remote, hosted by Purple, and the assistant can read Engage data and draft work in Engage.
- A remote MCP server, hosted by Purple
- Works with MCP clients such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor
How do I connect an AI assistant to Engage?
Connect through Purple sign-in from Claude or ChatGPT, or use an API key in a compatible MCP client such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor. API keys expire after 90 days and carry read and draft scopes, never a send scope.
- Connect with an API key from MCP clients that support one, such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor
- Keys expire after 90 days
- One-click connection from Claude and ChatGPT, through Purple sign-in
Can an outside agent send messages to my guests?
No. The server has two scopes, read and draft, and there is no scope that can send. An outside agent can only request an approval, and a person grants it inside Engage. Nothing reaches a guest without a person saying yes, whichever assistant drafted the work.
- Read scope
- Draft scope
- No scope that can send
- Approval requested by the agent, granted by a person inside Engage
What built-in prompts come with the server?
Four: plan a win-back, review the last campaign, weekly review, and draft from an opportunity. Each gives your assistant a ready-made starting point, so you don't have to write the instructions yourself. Anything a prompt drafts still waits for approval inside Engage before it can reach a guest.
- Plan a win-back
- Review the last campaign
- Weekly review
- Draft from an opportunity
How is the MCP server different from the Engage AI agent?
The built-in agent connects your goals, campaigns and results in Engage, with individual approvals or bounded autopilot. The MCP server lets external assistants such as Claude Desktop or Cursor read data and draft work. External assistants cannot send campaigns; those requests need approval in Engage.
