What can a pub do with Purple Engage?

Know walk-in guests from their WiFi sign-ins, not only the ones who book. Tell them about game days and trivia nights, run offers that only redeem in set hours, redeem them at Epos Now or Lightspeed POS systems, and record consent with double opt-in and versioned wording.

  • Game-day and trivia-night campaigns: the what's-on email template, sent at a set local time to a segment of recent visitors
  • Walk-in guests known from WiFi sign-ins, even if they never booked or bought
  • Offers redeemed at Epos Now and Lightspeed POS systems
  • Offer redemption at Zonal Aztec POS systems
  • Double opt-in sign-up with versioned consent wording, recorded for each channel

How does Engage know who visits my pub?

Every guest WiFi sign-in becomes a contact with a visit history for each pub, and historic Purple WiFi guests are imported on setup. POS sales from Epos Now or Lightspeed X-Series add spend. Engagement stars count real visits and human actions, so you can see who is a regular and who is fading.

  • WiFi sign-ins from Purple WiFi, Cisco Spaces, Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist
  • A visit history for each pub
  • Engagement stars: Champion, Loyal, Occasional, Fading and Dormant

How do I get guests back for the next big night?

Send the what's-on email, or an SMS through your own Twilio account, to a segment such as guests who visited in the last 30 days. Add an offer that only redeems in a window, such as trivia night, with a cap per guest and a budget.

  • What's-on email template with your brand kit
  • Offer redemption windows, caps per guest and budgets
  • SMS through your own Twilio account, with quiet hours

How do I know a campaign brought guests in?

Engage holds back a group of guests from a campaign and measures the extra visits and POS revenue against them, with a confidence range. Opens and clicks are human-only: Apple Mail Privacy opens and link scanners are filtered out, so they do not inflate the numbers.

  • Extra visits and POS revenue measured against a held-back group
  • Offer report with redemptions, cost against budget and extra return visits

How does Engage handle consent for pubs?

Sign-up forms are always double opt-in with versioned consent wording, and CSV imports record which channels the consent covers. The suppression list survives re-import, and guests can pick topics, pause for 30 days or leave in a branded preference center.

  • Double opt-in forms with versioned consent wording
  • Branded preference center
  • Suppression list that survives re-import

Questions

Can Engage help if my guests don't book?

Yes. Guest WiFi sign-ins become contacts with a visit history, so you know who walked in even if they never booked or bought. It works with Purple WiFi, and with Cisco Spaces, Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist.

Does Engage work with Zonal?

Yes. Zonal Aztec connects offer redemption with Engage, alongside Epos Now, Lightspeed, Square, Toast, Loyverse and Oracle Simphony.

How do offers redeem at Epos Now and Lightspeed?

Epos Now reads redemptions back from synced sales. Lightspeed X-Series receives codes pushed into the POS, and Lightspeed K-Series checks codes live at the POS.

Can I import my existing mailing list?

Yes, by CSV. The import records which channels each guest's consent covers, so consent for email is not treated as consent for SMS. The suppression list survives re-import.
