What could winning back lapsed guests be worth to you?

Put in your own numbers to see what a win-back could bring in over a year, and what the Purple Engage plan it needs would cost. Nothing is sent anywhere, and you do not need to give us your details.

Your assumptions

Every figure here is a starting assumption for you to change. None of them is a Purple result.

Your assumption

How many sites you would run Engage across.

Your assumption

Count each guest once a month. The starting figure is a placeholder, not an average.

Your assumption

What one guest spends on a typical visit. The starting figure is a placeholder.

Your assumption

The share who have given you an address and agreed to hear from you. It starts low on purpose.

Your assumption

The share who stop coming back within a year.

Your assumption

The share who return for one extra visit. It starts cautious on purpose.

These are your numbers, not a promise. In Engage, every campaign measures its real result against guests who were held back.

How the figures are worked out

  • Reachable guests are your guests a month at each venue, times 12, times your venues, times the share you can reach by email or text. Each month's guests count as different people, so if many of yours come every month, lower that figure.
  • Extra visits are the reachable guests who lapse in a year, times the share a win-back brings back. Each one counts once, for one visit.
  • Extra revenue is those visits times your average spend per visit.
  • The plan is the smallest listed one that covers 4 emails a month to every reachable guest, using the whole year's list from the first month, and its cost is the monthly price times 12. Paying yearly costs less.
  • Where you set a holdout, Engage keeps a share of guests back from a campaign and reports the extra visits against them, so you see the real figure rather than this estimate.
